I have never had mentoring before, what can I expect?The sole purpose is to educate the athlete, to give them skills they can use themselves to enhance their performance and fulfil their potential. This is done in a comfortable learning environment that is tailored to the individual. How old should the athlete be?The content is adjusted depending on the age and experience of the athlete. We work with aspiring athletes from high school aged students through to adults. For all initial individual consultations, athletes aged 16 and under must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

What formal qualifications do you have?They include a Bachelor of Science (Exercise and Sports Science) from Edith Cowan University, Diploma of Sport Development, Level 2 coaching accreditation from the AFL, Senior First Aid & CPR and a current Working with Children Check.

How many sessions do I need?There is no minimum or limit to the number of sessions. Every situation is different. The road to be the best version of yourself is a journey, and requires constant learning and improvement. To achieve the best results, regular mentoring is encouraged.

Is everything we discuss confidential?All information shared is strictly confidential. Your coaching sessions are a place where open communication can be shared - free from judgement or fear that your information will be shared.

How much does it cost?Pricing varies depending on whether the mentoring is for an individual, group or the Foundations course. Prices start as low as $15 a head per session if participating in a group. Please contact us below for a pricing guide relevant to you.

How and when should I pay?We accept payment via EFTPOS, bank transfer or cash at the conclusion of your session. For Foundations Course bookings, upfront payment is required.

Who can we help?We can help aspiring male and female athletes, from teenagers to adults. The experience and learnings of the mental and physical facets from my career in Australian Rules football and degree in Exercise and Sports science, can help not only budding footballers but athletes in all sports. We give deeper, practical advice that can be utilised on a daily basis.

Where do the sessions take place?We are based at Pentanet Stadium, Joondalup in Perth, Western Australia. The facilities include lecture theatres, private and open learning areas and plenty of parking. Alternatively, sessions can be done online via Microsoft Teams for those interstate and in regional areas.

Is there support between sessions?Yes! The key to a successful athlete-mentor relationship is communication. Check ins between sessions are vital for this, provided via phone or social media.

The sessions can also be held in person at your clubrooms/school/premises in Perth or online for those interstate and in regional areas. Perth locations must have digital and audio capabilities to service digital presentations.

How big can the group size be?Groups sessions can cater for up to 25 people. However, we understand each situation is different so we are flexible!

Is there support between sessions?Yes, groups will have their own exclusive Facebook group where additional content is added and any questions can be answered between sessions for the duration of the mentoring.

What is the Foundations Course?The Foundations Course involves 9 sessions covering topics that are relevant to any individual or group of athletes. It is designed to provide a broad foundation of knowledge of physical and mental skills important to any athlete. Sessions last 1 hour.

How long are the sessions spread out for?Delivery of the 9 session Foundations course is flexible and designed to cater for the athlete's availability. It can be spread over as little as 9 weeks or delivered over a longer period if required.

What topics are covered?Goal setting, resilience, sleep and recovery, nutrition tips, physical training techniques, imagery, routines for performance, mindfulness, communication and media skills and life balance as an athlete.

Is there support between sessions?Yes, for the duration of the course, the group or individual will be a part of an exclusive Facebook group where additional content is added and any questions can be answered between sessions.
